Free shipping applies only to domestic orders in the Contiguous United States totaling $150+. Returns have a $9.95 shipping label fee, which will be waived if you opt for a store credit refund.

Promotions cannot be combined for additional discounts. Accessories are excluded from any site promotion.

Orders placed between November 4th and December 31st will have an extended exchange window for the holidays. After the regular 14-day return window has ended, orders will not be eligible for a refund, but can be exchanged or returned for store credit until January 7th 2025.

Items on sale with a 30% or more discount are eligible for exchange only. Exchange Only items cannot be refunded, but can be exchanged for a different size, a different item, or store credit.

Final Sale items are discounted by 50% or more, and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Care Guide

Koios are crafted from the finest eco-luxe Italian materials, each requiring specific care. Properly caring for your Koios will prolong their lifespan, allowing you to enjoy them for years to come.

Please keep in mind:

When cleaning Koios, refrain from rubbing any stains or dirt from the sole onto the upper, stitching, or laces, as this can spread the stain. This is especially important for white leather shoes. Particularly make sure not to rub dirt onto the white stitching since the thread will soak up dirt easily. We always recommend very targeted spot cleaning of any stains. This minimizes stress on the materials, and will keep your Koios looking great longer.

Chrome-Tanned Leather

These care instructions apply to all leather shoes except for those in Antique White, Castagna, Mocha colorways, and the Koio Regenerative line.

Preventative Care:

Before wearing, apply a light coat of our Eco Protect Spray

Use Koio Shoe Trees between wears to maintain the shoe's structure.

Cleaning:

To clean, gently and briefly press the bristled tip of our Eco Cleaner against your Koios to dispense a small amount of formula. Remember, less is more.

Lift the tip away from the shoe to stop dispensing the formula, then gently scrub away the stain.

After cleaning, wipe away any excess formula using our Microfiber Cloth, and allow your Koios to air dry completely for approximately two hours.

Once dry, reapply the Eco Protect Spray to prevent future stains.

Vegetable-Tanned Leather

These instructions apply to Mocha and Castagna colorways. They do not apply to the Capri Regenerative line.

Preventative Care:

Before wearing, apply a light coat of our Eco Protect Spray. Reapply every few weeks.

Cleaning:

To clean, gently remove dry dirt and debris using our Microfiber Cloth.

Every four to six months, consider applying a leather conditioner to moisturize the leather. Be aware that this may darken some leathers. Whether you do that is a matter of personal preference. Many customers let their shoes age without a leather conditioner. If you wish to maintain the original color, refrain from using leather conditioner.

After applying a leather conditioner, allow your Koios to fully dry before wearing.

While we do not currently offer a leather conditioner, we recommend using reputable products like Lexol.

Regenerative Leather

Preventative Care:

Before wearing, apply a light coat of our Eco Protect Spray. Reapply every few weeks.

Please note that the leather in our Koio Regenerative line ages beautifully over time. This natural patina is embraced as part of the material's character.

Cleaning:

To clean, gently remove dry dirt and debris using our Microfiber Cloth.

If your Regenerative Koios come into contact with water droplets, promptly wipe them away with a slightly damp cloth.

Keep in mind that contact with water may accelerate the leather patination process.

Suede & Nubuck

These instructions apply to all Koios made with suede or nubuck.

Preventative Care:

Before wearing, apply a light coat of our Eco Protect Spray.

Note that the Eco Protect Spray may subtly darken lighter colors of suede or nubuck.

Cleaning:

Spot clean with our Koio Suede Brush. Use the bristle side for removing solids and the eraser side for marks. Utilize the rubber edge for hard-to-reach areas.

We don’t recommend using liquid cleaners on suede since they’ll darken the material and change its texture.

After spot-cleaning, reapply the Eco Protect Spray to prevent further stains.

Cotton-Canvas, Nylon, & Mesh

These instructions apply to all Koios made with cotton-canvas, nylon, and mesh.

Please note that our cleaner is slightly tinted. Therefore, we do not recommend using it on lighter colors such as White Canvas. For lighter colors, simply use a mixture of water and soap.
